FAQs
Do you cover my area?
Circle Cleaning covers the London and Surrey areas.
Who pays the cleaner?
We do: you pay us and then we pay the cleaner. This is to avoid any penalties or claims being made against you if you were to pay the cleaner directly.
Can I meet the cleaner beforehand?
Of course, we can arrange a meeting with the cleaner which will take place at your home at a time that is suitable for you. This can give you the opportunity to discuss any particular requirements.
What happens if my cleaner cannot make it?
If your designated cleaner cannot make it to clean your home, for example they are sick or on holiday, Circle Cleaning will contact you to arrange for another cleaner to cover the tasks temporarily.
Do I need to pay extra for weekends?
Yes, for weekends the price is £16 per hour.
Do I need to be at home while the cleaner is here?
No you don't need to be. Our cleaners are trustworthy, motivated and thoroughly background-checked so they will be able to do the job on their own.
What time will my cleaner arrive?
We can't guarantee a specific time for arrival as there may be traffic or public transport delays, but we can give you a time window so you have an idea of what time they will turn up.
How does the pricing work?
Promotional offer - £13.50 hourly rate
Cleaning costs £15 per hour, which includes both your cleaner's charge and our charges. You can choose how many hours you need with a minimum of 2 hours to ensure that travel costs are covered. You can get a discount if you book a 4 hour visit or longer; the discounted price is £14.50 per hour.
Are there any services that my cleaner cannot provide?
Our cleaners cannot provide the following services:
This is due to health and safety and because Circle Cleaning do not have any cleaners available that can offer certain specialised services.
How does insurance work?
In the unlikely event that your cleaner causes any damage in your home, you will need to let us know within 72 hours of your cleaner's visit. You will also need to provide photos of the damage along with full details. Then we will communicate with the cleaner and open a damage case. You will be required to pay a minimum excess of £100 for any damage claims. The excess paid is dependent on the damage and the cost of the item.
I have pets in my home. Will this be okay with the cleaner?
Yes, just make sure to let us know. We ask all our cleaners before joining if they are okay with pets, so we will be able to assign you a cleaner that can work around animals.
What are your customer service hours?
Our customer service hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am to 3:00pm on weekends.
How do I make a complaint?
If you would like to submit a complaint, please send an email to enquiries@circlecleaning.uk. All complaints must be submitted within 72 hours of the clean being finished.
If you are not satisfied with your clean and would like a refund, you will need to attach some photos to the email that show the areas you are not satisfied with.
If you would like a different cleaner for your next visit, please let us know and we will arrange that for you.
Can I reschedule or cancel a cleaning visit?
Of course, you will be able to reschedule or cancel a visit any time before 5:00pm on the day before. Just contact us and we will make sure that your request is completed.
You will be charged full price for the clean if the request is put in after the cut-off time, or if your cleaner arrives but is unable to gain entry to your home to start the clean.
What is the latest time I can book for urgent cleans?
You can book a cleaner for the next day any time before 6:00pm.
Can I contact my cleaner directly?
If you need to contact your cleaner, you will need to contact us and we will then contact the cleaner on your behalf. We never give your contact details to any of our cleaners nor would we give their contact details to any customers; this is for security and privacy reasons.
